Hengoed Court is a family run Care Home…

…overlooking extensive scenic views of parkland, Crymlyn Burrows Nature Reserve and Swansea Bay. The setting is a tranquil and relaxing environment within walking distance from the local shop, public house and bus stop.


Hengoed Court a luxury Care Home, strives to provide the highest quality residential, nursing and dementia care, with tastefully decorated spacious lounges and airy ensuite bedrooms. The Home is laid out over 4 floors with each floor consisting 3 individual units with a maximum of 12 bedrooms. Each unit has its own lounge, dining and kitchen area. Lounges have access to patio areas, some overlooking the Nature Park, Crmlyn Burrows and Swansea Bay.  The first two floors will provide personal care for residents with dementia.

There is a fully equipped Gymnasium offering rehabilitation therapy. There is a spacious, comfortable Coffee Lounge for visitors and residents to use with free wifi access for residents and visitors.

The building has passenger lifts and stairs which ensures easy access to all floors.

All rooms are equipped with electrically operated profiling beds and pressure relieving mattresses are available should they be needed. Infrared movement detectors are fitted into each bedroom to help keep residents safe and alert staff as required.

Although we can never replace your own home at Hengoed Court we aim to provide the next best thing. We believe that everyone
should be valued as an individual and that by working in partnership with our residents, their relatives, friends and carers we maintain and promote the wellbeing of each and every person in our care.

Our Care Home manager heads up a team of fully qualified nurses who are supported by trained, dedicated carers and staff to ensure around the clock service.

Hengoed Court employs its own Staff Training & Development manager who delivers all the necessary statutory training.  Our staff are continuously assessed to ensure a consistently high standard of care is given.

Hengoed Court is a member of the All Wales Registered Nursing Home Association and is regulated by th



e Care Standards Inspector for Wales.


The Home accepts placements by Social Services, Local Health Authority, N.H.S.  Continuing Care and private funded clients.

Hengoed Court is registered to accept 120 clients who are in need of care within the following categories :- Older Person (Nursing) Physical Disability, Older Person (Personal Care) Physical Disability, Dementia Care with both personal care and nursing care.

Hengoed Court provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
